A hands-on animal experience for all ages - just 10 minutes out of Taupo

Lilliput Animal Farm is a relaxed farm experience where you can get close to a wonderful mix of friendly animals. Meet donkeys, ponies, goats, sheep, deer, alpacas, a llama, pigs, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, lizards and plenty more. Many can be hand-fed and patted, and our walk-in giant rabbit enclosure lets you sit amongst the Flemish Giant rabbits and spend some time feeding and getting to know them. Depending on the season, there may be baby animals in the park to meet too.

Wander beneath the huge oak trees, let the kids enjoy the playground, bring a picnic or buy a coffee and spend a few hours away relaxing - ideal when you are looking for family activities. We love having guests - from families with little ones to older children and teenagers, adults and grandparents - all animal lovers are welcome!

At all times we have last entries one hour prior to closing time – this is to allow you time to get around the park.

Looking after the animals comes first. Our shorter opening hours give them plenty of quiet time to rest, so they're fresh, happy and ready to interact when visitors arrive. It makes for a better experience for everyone.

2 kids and 2 adults family pass. We also got 2 scoops per bucket which lasted us the whole park. This place is very rustic with farm charm. The attendant was very friendly. My kids loved feeding the chooks, holding guinea pigs and rabbits - the donkeys are such characters! We went in the April school holidays and would recommend gumboots during the rainy seasons. A must do Taupō family activity!

WOW!!! JUST WOWW!! Fun and interesting for all ages. The animals were so cute, happy and well looked after. The playground and picnic area is just perfect for regrouping, lunch and petting of some small fluffy animals. The walk and most parts of the track could even be wheelchair accessible as a pram could easily navigate through also. We had such a lovely time making everlasting memories as a family. Everything was so tidy and clean. Toilets and changing table also. Thanks Paul for your friendly face and head full of animal facts and knowledge. Well done team!! 👏

Wonderful farm for all ages! Visited this morning and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Animals were gentle and friendly (and we loved seeing their personalities)! You can see they’re very well taken care of which unfortunately in our experience isn’t the case for all such farms. My 3 year old had a great time feeding them, and we enjoyed the shaded stroll through the farm. The owner was so kind and lovely to chat with.
